Thank you very much Thursday

Good Morning my friends! How the heck are ya? How was your hump day? Ours was okay - nothing to write home about - just another late day at the office.  For some reason, I could NOT get it together yesterday afternoon and totally screwed up 4 major documents that I was working on and before I could send them out I had to redo them (2 of them were each 80 pages long and the other 2 were about each 30 pages long).  It wasn't my fault entirely, though, you see..... first off, my wonderful boss (who I do truly love and adore - he's 76 years old) forgot to tell me that the versions I needed to use weren't already on the system and I had to make new versions from the emails we got a few days back - UGH!  Then, next my daughter was in one of her teenage "moods" where I was arguing with her over the phone and ended up hanging up on her due to her disrespect to me and her yelling and screaming because she didn't get her way! *sigh*  Anywho.... today is Thank you very much Thursday so be sure to check out Kmama at The Daily Dribbles and read everyone else's TYVMT posts and link up to add your own.  So without further ado... here are mine for the day:

1.  To my 76 yo boss that forgot to tell me about using a totally different document than what was on our system, so I had to redo them all and made for a long night - Thank you very much

2.  To my 16 yo daughter and her boyfriend who were very rude and inconsiderate yesterday of me and his mom's work schedule just because they wanted to go to the mall and hang out together and demanded that one of us take them and pick them up on "their" time schedule - Thank you very much

3.  To the young attorney who used to work on my floor at work but was moved upstairs and now thinks he is too good to talk to me anymore when we are standing right on the same subway next to each other - Thank you very much

4.  To my husband for not being sick this week and ending up back in the Emergency Room again - Thank you very much

5.  To my 16 yo son who finally has learned how to make and program the coffee pot so that you can make you and me coffee now - Thank you very much

6.  To all of my wonderful blogger friends who finds time to stop by and say hello and hasn't disowned me yet due to my busy and hectic schedule and lack of posts on your blogs -(I love you all and promise to catch up on your blogs over the weekend) - Thank you very much

7.  To Mother Nature who has FINALLY taken all of the darn snow with you for this week at least - Thank you very much

8.  To the traffic on Route 80 that was terribly slow yesterday morning so that it took us over an hour to get into the Port Authority - I had a wonderfully long 1 hour nap that I desperately needed - so Thank you very much

9.  To my stupid DVR that has gotten screwed up somehow and refuses to now record 2 shows at the same time on 2 different channels making me miss some of my favorite tv shows - Thank you very much

10.  To tomorrow Finally being Friday - Thank you very much

Well, that's all I can think of today, my friends.  I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thursday and just remember - tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is one day closer! YAY!

Lots of love and hugs,
Trac~ ;o)

  2. Oh you're making my head hurt with the teenager thing. Do I have to start thinking about that yet? No? Okay, good.

Hope your weekend is relaxing and certainly not full of asshats :(

  4. Oh man, not much worse than not having the DVR tape your shows (although in about 10 years I will probably think teenagers can be a little worse than that!). :)

  5. My biggest pet peeve is a DVR that functions incorrectly. I think I am too addicted to TV. haha
