Things That Annoy Me Thursday - Husband and Dog Edition

Happy Thursday friends! Hope you're having an awesome week so far.  Today is Amber's weekly, Things That Annoy Me Thursday, so come play along if you'd like! :)

For the record, due to not getting much sleep again last night, I see a lot of this in my future today:

1 - My husband and I going to bed together every night, and within seconds of his head hitting the pillow, he is snoring and in a very deep sleep, while I am laying there trying to block out his snores with a fan and storm, plus earplugs, to no avail, and therefor am left lying awake for an hour or more. And no, I can't go to sleep before him because he always watches tv in our bed at night, so there is still very loud noise.

2 - TV in our bedroom. See #1 above for reason ^.

3 - Male dog that decides once he's done eating, instead of running to the back door like he ALWAYS DOES, he will just go and hike his leg on the cases of bottled water sitting on the floor. GRRRRR...... this happened this morning and I was NOT happy!!! 

4 - Cleaning up said male dog's pee off the floor and cases of water this morning at 5:30! GRRRRR

5 - Waiting on people to make a final decision and get it in writing so that we can move forward in our lives with our plans.  I am not a patient person, therefor, someone else having control of my life in certain ways makes me pretty grumpy.

Things That Annoy Me Thursday

Happy Thursday, lovies! We are officially on the downhill side of the week - thank goodness! I don't know about you, but I am completely and utterly exhausted and can't wait for the weekend, though I wish today was our Friday again as I was really enjoying those short work weeks! LOL

Anywho, today I like to play along with Amber on her weekly Things That Annoy Me Thursday. Feel free to play along. 

-- That this Texas weather keeps going from hot to cold and cold to hot.  I mean, I am just shaking my head at Mother Nature this year - the weather has just been WEIRD!

-- To have my hormones so out of whack that I go from freezing to death one second, to literally have sweat running down my face the next.  It is RIDICULOUS!!!!  I'm as bad as Mother Nature with my hormones! 

-- To be doing another Whole 30 so I can't enjoy a glass of wine or sugar or anything except clean foods for the next 30 days. I think I chose the wrong time to do it, as I could REALLY use a glass of wine this week! HA!

-- I am not a patient person by any sense of the word, and currently we have a couple of things that are hendering us in our future plans of where we plan to live.  Whether we are going to remain in Texas, or move back home to Arkansas - I do not like uncertainty - I want a clear laid out plan and then want to execute it.

-- I hate that I worry too much about others and their feelings being hurt. I try to be mindful of others and when I bring up my concerns at the office to certain people only to be told basically that I'm reading too much into things and not to worry about it, when I know if it were me, I would be VERY upset.

-- To worry about your kids and their decisions and there not be a thing that you can do to help them, except to be there to listen and offer advice and support.  I want to be able to fix all of my kid's problems (even though they are minor) and keep them from any hurt and pain, and I just simply can't do that.

-- To wish I could find a legitimate job working from home where I didn't have to worry about selling anything or having inventory of things for sale.  I am so over the corporate world that I can't stand it.

-- To wish I knew of a good blog designer, who was honest, reasonably priced and creative so that I could give my blog a new and much needed facelift.

Things That Annoy Me Thursday

Happy Happy Thursday dollfaces! Hope your week has been more than spectacular! Wow, so hard to believe today is the last full day of December, isn't it?! It's just plain crazy to me! If you want to do your own Things That Annoy Me Thursday, feel free to play along.  You can check out Amber here and play along with us if you'd like. :)

(1)  To have an appointment and travel one way for an hour and a half in traffic, only to pull up in front of the office at the same time receiving a call that something has came up and they have to cancel your appointment - GRRRRRRR - I mean, REALLY!!!?? Ugh, needless to say, I was a little more than furious.

(2)  To be frustrated that I can't seem to recall dates anymore, like birthdays of friends and family, and need to keep a calendar handy in order to not forget - except...., that I still forgot my father-in-law's birthday last Tuesday and so his card and gift are going to be late...sigh

(3)  And.... I forgot my mother-in-law's birthday yesterday, so yes, her card and gift are going to be late as well....

(4)  To just despise people some times - do you know what I mean? I absolutely can not stand to work with people who are just plain out asses for no reason in particular except that they are just mean and nasty. The worst ones are especially when they are two faced - I mean, come on, really? Last time I checked we are ALL adults here and on the same team so what the hell man?! Grrrr

(5)  To hate that it's already the last day of December.  I mean, where has the year gone? I know they say the older you get, the faster the years fly, but still... this year flew by faster than I could even blink.

Anyway, there are my frustrations for the week.  Hope you'll come play along today. :)

I hope that whatever your plans are tonight for the big New Year's Eve ball drop, you will stay safe and take a taxi back home if necessary. As for me and mine, we are hanging out with our peeps across the street, shooting off fireworks and enjoying a few adult beverages and hoping that we actually make it to Midnight.  Usually, our New Year's Eve consists of us going to bed and watching movies and hubby being asleep and me watching the ball drop and then waking him up to give me a New Year's Day kiss before he goes back to snoring.  We lead the exciting life don't we?! LOL

Things That Annoy Me Thursday

Happy Friday Eve sweetums.  We are on the downhill side of the week, thank goodness, and I, for one, am SO happy that tomorrow is finally Friday again.  After having short weeks recently due to our grandson being born and then Thanksgiving, it has been tough having to work full weeks again - ha ha ha  Anyway, today Amber does her "Things that Annoy me Thursday" and I decided to join in this week.  Come play along, won't you!!! :)

1.  Getting a Zit at 47 years old - I mean, I never ever had zits when I was in puberty or growing up at all (yes, seriously) - until the last few years.  Not that I get them often but seriously, come on!  But, in all fairness I guess, I do know that it's because of my bad eating habits lately thanks to the holidays and my over-indulging, so yeah, there's that - blah  This was me when I woke up Monday morning:

2.  Wishing I still lived somewhere that the weather actually made it feel like the holidays instead of being in Texas and the temperatures still being too hot for my liking during this time of year. The highs have officially gone back up into the high 70's and low 80's. I mean, come on for kripes sake - it's December the last time I checked and I want it to look and feel like this for the holidays:

3.  Listening to people in the office who do nothing but bitch 24/7 and are never happy no matter what you do or say to try and be positive - it gets old FAST.  If they are that unhappy then they should retire already sheesh

4.  POLITICS - UGH I absolutely DESPISE any and ALL Politics like you have no idea and I can't wait until this stuff is over once and for all - Grrrrrrr

Things That Annoy Me Thursday

Happy Thursday guys and dolls!  Hope all is well your way and that you're having a great week so far.  My week has been crazy to say the least, which is why other than Monday, I've not been able to get by your blogs to see what the heck is going on over in your neck of the woods.  *sigh*  I promise to do so soon, though! :)

 

One of my favorite bloggers, Amber, over at Airing My Laundry One Sock At A Time, does a Things That Annoy Me Thursday, so I decided to join up and do the same today.  She usually does a post on one thing at a time, but this has been one of those weeks, so I've tweaked it a bit and have added my aggravations from this week instead of just one annoyance.  :)  This may become a regular post of mine, as hers always crack me up!  Nonetheless.... here we go:

 

Things that annoy me Thursday:

1.  Houston Traffic - Mr. or Mrs. person in the car in front of me - it is NOT okay to straddle the white line between the two lanes, so please choose one lane or the other! And the other Mr. or Mrs. who came up behind me this morning in the dark and pouring down rain and almost side swiped me as you jumped over to the next lane - SO NOT COOL!!!!

2.  Weight Gain - especially when you eat healthy all day/week and drink plenty of water but yet, somehow, you gain a half a pound by the end of the week. 

 

3.  Trying to plan your daughter's wedding and begin the process of making the invitations, only to be told a week or two later that the date has been changed (and it's 3 months earlier) - good thing I hadn't gotten very far into them yet.

 

4.  When your son, who is a Senior in high school now, and is responsible when it comes to his grades and driving the car, can't seem to remember to make coffee and set it for the next morning so it's ready for him/me when we get up.  Mama needs her coffee yo!

 

5.  When it's time to trade in your iphone and upgrade and you choose the wrong one.  I have always been an Apple girl and loved, loved, loved my iphones over the years.  However, I decided since Best Buy was having a killer deal on the Samsung Galaxy SIII the day after Thanksgiving, that I would give it a try.  Needless to say, I've been disappointed to say the least and have since put it up for sale on Ebay, so that I can buy a new iphone 4s.  I.do.not. like the iphone 5 that has since came out.

 

6.  People who pee all over the bathroom seat!  EWWWW is all I can say!  We are ladies, not men, so what the hell would you be peeing all over the toilet seat for?  My husband is cleaner than most of the ladies on my floor.  Ladies - PLEASE pee like a lady and don't make a mess - oh and if you do, please clean up after yourself!
