I'm Back AND I have some EXCITING NEWS to share! :)

Well.. I know it's been a few weeks since my last post - BUT things have just been NUTS around here to say the least!  There have been some things that have transpired over the past 3 weeks that I still can't really talk about right now, however, the exciting news is that we are officially moving back HOME to Arkansas and I just can NOT wait! WOOT WOOT!!!! :)

Granted, I will miss everyone I work with and the firm I work for, but due to some pending family issues back home and the kids getting out of school right now - it's just the perfect time to make the move once and for all.  We hadn't planned to make this move again for at least 3 or 4 more years - but things have a way of working out, don't they - especially things beyond our control.

So.... as it stands right now - my last day here in NYC at the office is this Friday and we leave for "HOME" on Saturday morning at 4 a.m!  To say that we are beyond excited is an understatement! HA!  Anyway, here is our HOME SWEET HOME back in Arkansas that is just waiting to welcome us back (excuse the pumpkin border - it was already there - LOL)  I tried posting the picture instead of the link but it's not letting me for some reason. 

Also, in the event anyone has any ideas or knows how I can transfer all of these blog posts to my NEW blog - "As Southern As Sweet Tea" - that would be helpful because I still can't figure it out.  And, on another note, for some reason I am actually able to comment on blogs today as well as make a new post here on my blog because I am sitting at a different desk and they have access to all of these goodies! WOO HOO! :)  Due to the impending move, it may be a few more weeks before I am actually back into the swing of things full time here in the bloggy world.  We managed to get the house all packed up and stuff this past weekend, which was good - but now we have a lot of loading in the U-haul and unloading and unpacking waiting for us on the other side of the country when we officially get moved in - oh - that and I start my new job a week from today - ACK!

JON BON JOVI - Picture Overload

Happy Monday everyone! How are you?  Great, I hope!  I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.  As you will see in my pictures below - my weekend was awesome and Jon Bon Jovi was fabulous!  He put on a great show and we had a lot of fun.  The only disappointing thing with him was that his show is advertised as his "Greatest Hits" so we expected a lot of his "old" (and best in our opinion) music but instead got a lot more of his newer music.  But, other than that, it was easy getting into Madison Square Garden and even easier getting out.  Please excuse the quality of some of (most of) these pictures as the lighting was off and on so much (and we sat behind the stage) so it was hard to get good pictures - plus some of these are from the big screens we were watching when his back was to us.

And I know it's hard to tell from these pictures but OMG he is STILL HOT AND SEXY after all of these years and when they showed close-ups of him on the screen - he had the smoothest skin you can imagine.  And by the way girls... he just turned 49 on March 2nd! :)

Summer Harvest

Happy Saturday guys and dolls!  I hope that you are having a great weekend so far!  Today has been such a busy day for us and I got SO MUCH DONE that it's hard to believe.  It feels so good to be home and get so much accomplished.  Now I am laying down resting - LOL   Don't worry - I will have some pictures to show you of my projects from this weekend.  I was walking through the City one day last week on my way to the office and decided to stop and take some pictures of the beauty around me at that moment when I passed through the NYC Farmer's Market.  I love all of the different colors and hope you enjoy the pictures too. (I actually think these pictures turned out really well - they were taken with my Iphone 4)
