Three Things Thursday

Happy Thursday peeps! Hope you are all having a good week so far.  My week hasn't been too great up to this point. See below to know why:

1.  I've been sicker than a dog with allergies or head cold, not sure which but thanks to this and reason number 2 below, this mama has had very little sleep and has worried myself sick I think

2.  Yesterday morning on my way to work, my daughter texted to let me know she was on her way to the hospital because she had the stomach bug and had began throwing up blood - remember, she is 8 months pregnant.  They hooked her all up as soon as she got there and kept her overnight.  She began having contractions - but, she's only 34 weeks along in her pregnancy.  They tried stopping the contractions, but to no avail.  In other words, my grandson may be born sometime this week/weekend.  They gave her a steroid shot in the hip yesterday for the baby's lungs and are supposed to give her another one today sometime.  Not sure if they will let her go home or not at this point because she lives 30 minutes away and her contractions yesterday were 3-5 minutes apart. :(

3.  Due to traveling out of state for a funeral this weekend and now possibly meeting my grandson, I will be away from the blog for a few days and will pick back up on Monday.

Three Things Thursday

Happy October lovies! I hope you're having a fab week so far.  Yesterday was another tough day at the office, but hey, today is a new day, right?! :)  I love this Three Things Thursday each week but since the holidays are upon us (crazy), I am going to change it to Thankful Thursday beginning next week.  After all, we have a lot to be thankful for in this world, don't we? :)

1.  I'm SO happy tomorrow is Finally Friday - WHOOP WHOOP  I can't help it, I literally LIVE for the weekends - even if it is just staying around the house and not doing much

2.  I couldn't be more thrilled that today is actually October 1st - so hard to believe, but it signals the beginning of my most favorite time of year, which is that the holidays are upon us finally

3.  Oh and today starts Thriller Thursday on my local radio station back home that I can pick up on Iheartradio and I look forward to this every year.  For the entire month of October, people call in or write in telling about their true ghost stories and experiences - (insert evil laugh here)

Three Things Thursday

Happy Friday Eve, peeps.  I hope all is well your way so far.  My week has actually kind of sucked and yesterday was an extremely bad day at the office.  It didn't matter what I touched, I messed it up every single time - it was ridiculous.  But, today is a new day and hopefully a much better one. Without further adieu, here are my Three Things Thursday - please feel free to play along! :)

1.  To hate having Vertigo.  I've been up sick all night with it and it is miserable to say the least.  I don't know if the extreme dizziness is caused by my new meds or something else

2.  To be thrilled that Fall is finally here, though we are still not getting it here in the Texas area, I'm hoping it gets here soon  

3.  To be so glad that tomorrow is Finally Friday.  This has truly been a week from hell at the office and not feeling good on top of that has made it even more miserable.

Three Things Thursday

Happy Happy Thursday!  You know what today is, right?  Friday eve, of course!!! And this mama couldn't be MORE happy that tomorrow is Friday!  I am STILL worn completely out and trying to catch up with sleep.  I don't know why it is, but I just can't get caught up and am staying completely exhausted lately.  Anywho... on to my Three Things Thursday - feel free to play along:

1.  I am SO happy that today is Friday Eve and tomorrow is actually Friday

2.  I am thinking of changing this from Three Things Thursday to Thirsty Thursday, especially now that Fall is in the air - would love to share some fall drinks of sorts

3.  I am thinking about changing up my hairstyle.  I get compliments constantly on my hair, but I feel like it is weighing me down and just kind of drab - though it's shiny and not drab - does that make sense?  Here is what I mean:

See how it's just kind of hanging there?  That's me in the middle, by the way - LOL  I mean, I like my hair long and don't want to go as short as my two friends' in the picture above, but I want a new style - what do you think?  I prefer bangs but they are always growing so fast they stay in my eyes constantly and drive me crazy.  I love my friend, Paula's bangs, however, and may do that to them instead - mine are always so thick and heavy.  What are your thoughts and ideas?  Anyone want to help a mama out by helping me transform my look?! :)

Three Things Thursday

Happy Thursday guys and dolls!  Hope you're having a fabulous week so far.  Only one more day until the weekend.  Though my weekend is going to really suck again due to having to attend the funeral of our co-worker on Saturday afternoon, I am still ready for the weekend to be here.  I didn't realize until just yesterday morning that we leave a week from today for Arkansas aka "home" to visit with family and give our daughter a baby shower with our friends and family.  Anywho.... without further adieu - here are my Three Things Thursday today.  Please play along! I'd love to see yours as well. :)

1.  Is SO thankful for these cooler temperatures we have been having the past 2 or 3 days - there is literally NO humidity - it almost feels Fall like and I can't wait!

2.  Still has stuff to gather and make to take for the baby shower next weekend.  It has literally crept upon me where I had better get my butt on the ball to get things accomplished.

3.  I am truly dreading this weekend and the funeral of our co-worker.  Though I didn't know him as well as everyone else does, he was a very nice man and easy to work with and a very funny person.

And because you know me and how I hate doing a post without a picture of some sort, I'm not going to leave you hanging.  Here are just a few ideas for my daughter's baby shower next weekend.  She is doing a whale theme and I'm having a blast gathering everything up to make for it.

Three Things Thursday

Happy Thursday friends!  Just wanted to say hello and see how your week is going so far?  Ours is going good but still crazy busy at work for both me and my husband.  I don't know about you, but I am SO ready for Friday and the weekend - LOL

I have a friend on Facebook who posts a Three Things Thursday on her page every week and I thought this was a great idea, so I decided to borrow it and start doing the same here.  Feel free to play along if you'd like - would love to see your Three Things as well.

1.  Yesterday afternoon at 4:30 when I got off of work, it was a blustery 79 whopping degrees here in Houston. Considering that this time last week it was already over 103 degrees, this made me extremely happy.  I am a HUGE Fall person and living in Houston Texas does not allow me to enjoy the Fall season until December when the temps actually begin dropping - it was over 80 degrees for Thanksgiving a couple of years back - talk about miserable! Blah....  Bring me this any day:

2.  There is just a little over 2 weeks until my most favorite time of the year begins - Arkansas Razorback Football season - woo hoo!!!

3.  Also, the same day the first game of the football season begins, just also happens to be the day that we are having my daughter's baby shower - talk about poor planning on my part - or should I say, my husband's part, as it was his idea since it was Labor Day weekend - we just forgot to look at the football schedule first.  Can you tell we are ready for football?! HA!  Too bad the baby shower isn't going to be football themed - rats! But, here is another picture of my beautiful daughter and grandson to be - can't wait until he gets here and I get to hold him and love all over him - he is going to be SO spoiled.... :)
