Happy TGIF my friends! Welcome back! Hope you've had an awesome week so far and have some great weekend plans. There won't be as many pictures today as there has been so far. We were told by SO MANY people that when we went to Portland that we HAD to go to a place called VOO DOO Donuts, so we did! It was a neat place to go and there was a lot of people in the line ahead of and behind us, but to us, it wasn't anything special. Their donuts were huge and cost us $5 for 2 donuts! YIKES!! And we didn't even buy any of their special donuts - we only got a normal maple and chocolate donut, so we really didn't see what all the fuss was about - other than saying we've been there and done that. Ha ha!
This sign, Keep Portland Weird - REALLY lived up to it's name! It was a VERY VERY WEIRD place for sure! But, we did have a great time and really enjoyed being there and are ready to go back. There was SO much to do and 2 full days was just not enough time to do it in. I think we will go back in the summer another time so we can really enjoy the beach when it's warm and not in the 50's and rainy. :)

Given that we have only recently got our first Dunkin Donuts here in the north east of England I think it may be a while before we get a Voodoo Donuts.
