Happy Thursday darlins! How the heck are ya? Great, I hope! How has your week been? Mine has been good but so very long. I have been working late most nights but got to leave by 4:45 yesterday and it was so nice for a change. It felt so weird being home and in bed early.
So......lately I've been having a tough time figuring out what shampoo I like best for my hair. My hair is normal - no hair color (ever, never) (always my natural dark brown color) - and just a couple of grays. It is very very fine and has a problem with static and makes me NUTS to say the least. Anyway, if you are willing to share, I would like to know what your favorite shampoos are that you like to use. Also, if you have one that is good for making your hair shiny that would be good too. My hair looks healthy but I have a hard time when it comes to shampoo. I go to the extreme with it too by having 4 or 5 different bottles and types in my shower so that I can switch it out each time I lather up. I used to wash my hair daily but have started washing it every other day instead. And as always, it looks better the 2nd day (when it is dirty so to speak). Here are the shampoos/conditioners that are currently in my shower:
And I have Garnier Fructice as well, but for some darn reason Blogger has decided I can't upload more photos right now. This happened to me yesterday as well - anyone else having problems? ARGH! I am thinking of switching to Word Press or something like everyone else is doing. I get so frustrated at Blogger sometimes.
Anyway....a total of 9 shampoos in.my.shower.stall - (minus the one I sent to my sister recently - so a total of 8) *sigh*

Aveda
Biolage
Dove
Johnson's Baby Shampoo
Moroccan Oil
(since we have well water this makes my hair oily so I actually sent this to my sister back home instead)
Pantene
Pureology (the conditioner smells like Peppermint)
Suave

See... I told you - I take it to the extreme. There are also 4 different razors in my shower and about 3 or 4 different types of body wash but that is a different post for a different day. LOL I'm telling you - it's an addiction - HA!
So... what shampoo(s) are your favorites? I would love to hear what you have to say. Have a wonderful and blessed day and thanks for stopping by to say hello.
Lots of love and hugs,
Great choices! My fave is Pantene and Johnson's Baby Shampoo.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs!

Cracking up because I finally limited myself to one shampoo/conditioner in the shower at a time so as not to drive my redneck husband batty! hee hee!
ReplyDeleteThe Fructis series tends to calm down my curly hair, but I haven't found the PERFECT combination yet. I *love* peppermint smells, they wake me up!
And maybe using Windows Live Writer would help with the photos... I know it's waaay easier to edit them and add watermarks and put a million of them in one post!
just how many shampoos does a woman need? Fair with reddish undertones and very greasy I tend to alternate between Johnsons baby shampoo, Johnsons three-in-one (Shampoo, conditioner and anti-headlice) and wash 'n' go.
ReplyDeleteShampoo can be hard, but I have mostly found that they all pretty much work the same regardless of the price. I do think a lot of the "clarifying" shampoos are hard on my hair, and any shampoo/conditioner combos make it super staticky. Lately I've been using the Philosophy bath gel/shampoo combos (they have so many fantastic scents) and Costco conditioner. I try to keep no more than 2 of any one item in my shower at a time. :)
