Hot Water & Lack Thereof

Hello my friends - how are you today?  How was your Monday?  Great, I hope!  Mine was good but very busy and the next 2 days are going to be NUTS to say the least around the office due to one of my bosses having TWO closings in 2 days - ACK!  She goes spastic when she gets extremely busy so it could be very interesting to say the least! LOL  Don't get me wrong - I love this boss - she's great and very funny and is the ONLY female boss I've E.V.E.R. gotten along with.  This is what she looks like when she gets really busy - LOL

Anywho..... for the last week we have had some issues here at home with our dang hot water and the lack thereof.  I don't know what the problem is but since hubby is home today then he will have them come check it out.  For some reason it didn't start (we've lived here almost 3 years now) until after someone came out to fix a leak in our house a week or so ago.  Ever since then we've had issues with the hot water and actually running OUT - which is a problem we've never ever had before.  So... I think today me and my son both are going to have to go to work and school a little "stinky" - HA!  Because even at 5 a.m. when I got up - there was NO hot water, which I know is going to be an issue when my son wakes up and he will be in an awful mood all day long from it.  All 4 of us (me, hubs and 2 kids) take at least 2 showers each and every day.  What can I say - we like to be clean! HA!  SO you can imagine what I mean when I say - no hot water = cranky family - LOL

Meet Me On Monday - 46th Edition

Happy Monday my peeps!  How are you?  Great, I hope!  How was your weekend?  Was it as busy as mine?  I feel like I need another day home just to sleep and rest - I was way too busy the last few days and can't wait for the upcoming 3 day weekend so I can possibly catch up on some rest - though, since I know me as well as I do, that will never happen.  I have way too much to do on the weekends just playing catch-up around the house - sheesh.  Working in NYC takes so much of my time with just the commute that I have no other option.  *sigh*  Anyway, since I have only a few minutes today - I wanted to join in on this quick blog hop with Java from Never Growing Old.  Come play along, won't you?! :)

Questions:

1. What is your favorite bagel flavor?  Cinnamon Raisin

2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on?  Paint and more organization bins to re-do my huge walk-in pantry closet

3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?  Probably all of the great deals I got this past weekend at Wal-Greens with my couponing - 10 packs of Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs (10 in each pack) all for a total of tax which was ONLY 95 cents TOTAL.  They were buy 1 for $2.99 and get 1 free - I had coupons and that brought them down to just mere pennies.  P.S.  NO I didn't clear the shelves -they had a ton of them so I was able to use all of my coupons.  Though, I did feel like I was "robbing" the store with my ability to get such a great deal - hence the "guilt"

4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?  I would say soft serve since I have no idea what hand dipped ice cream really is - LOL

5. Are you allergic to anything?  Only poision ivy (or used to be when I was young - not sure if I am or not any longer but still going with that thought just in case - HA

I'd love to see your answers.  P.S.  My thoughts and prayers are going out to all of the people in Joplin, MO who were affected by the tornadoes over the weekend.  If anyone else was that I'm not aware of, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you as well.  The Wal-Mart in Joplin, MO was destroyed that I know of - and that is a store that my husband helped build many years ago. :o(

Good morning, and happy Tuesday my peeps!  Hope all is well your way.  Things are good here but I could really use your opinions on something.  Remember this picture from yesterday?

My husband and I are having a disagreement over something and I'd like to know your honest opinions on the matter.  Does this picture look bad in the effect that his hand "appears" to be on her behind fully?  The reason I ask is because I can tell and could see when I took the picture that his hand appears (at least to me) that it is on her hip more so and part of it on her behind.  My husband says this is a lack of respect, blah blah blah whereas I didn't think this was a big deal really.  It's not like his hand is around her neck and on her boob or something - so please tell me - am I wrong?  Does this look bad and I'm just too blind to see it or is it dad being overprotective of his little girl?  *sigh*  I await your responses and appreciate the feedback! :)
