Show Us Your Life - Office Segment

Happy Friday my darlins!  How are you?  Great, I hope!  Whew - we finally made it to the weekend!  Even though I've worked long hours this week it has just flown by so fast that I can't believe today is Friday again.   However, since it IS Friday again - you know what that means, right? (Hint - take another peek at the title - LOL)  Yes, it's Kelly's Show Us Your Life weekly segment and this week is the office.  Well, before I show you my pictures, let me just preface it to say that we have owned this house now for a little over 2 years and still have a lot of work to be done and this room is one of them.  Also, yesterday we got new pipes put in our office because we have been getting tons of leaks lately and we keep having to tear OUT the wall - UGH!  So, we fixed it once and for all and now we can put new sheetrock up and paint it and hopefully, get the office looking in tip top shape soon enough.  Okay, okay, I will quit talking your ears off now - sorry..... :o)

Looking into the office from the kitchen:
Underneath the desk (just a small bit of my Scrapbook stash - yes, I have an addiction - Hi my name is Tracy and I collect scrapbook supplies - "Hi Tracy" - LOL
The right side of our desk: - see those binders - yep they have recipes in them that I have to get copied to my recipe cards one day, the little basket has wine corks in them (since I collect wine bottles and corks), the white container has my Stamps and ink pads and to the right of that is envelopes, year books, etc.
A bookshelf in the office that has MORE scrapbook, craft and paint stuff for refurbishing things:
Scrapbook paper, and more of my stash:
Like I said it's an addiction and I'm running out of room (can't you tell):
More of the desk - the cabinets above (which I forgot to get a picture of) have jars and cans that are holding...yep you guessed it - more scrapbooking stuff - but it's for beads, letters, etc.  To the left of the desk is our bibles, books, extra notebooks, bill basket and printer: (sorry, I wasn't thinking when I took these pictures as I didn't get a good one of this desk):
Torn out wall for the last time with our new pipes installed finally:
Yeah - umm see that purple wall - this apparently used to be a child's bedroom and I guess that was the color of the room but I'm not going to try and paint that before replacing the wall for the last time - it will just stay purple and no one has to know... HA!

See, I told ya - just keeping it real!  Now that I've shown you my office - I can't wait to see yours so come play along!  Besides, I need some ideas on how to turn my office/scrap room into just an office for  my husband and his peace of mind - hee hee hee  So, what's on your agendas for the weekend?  If you've been around my blog for long, you should know by now that my weekend will consist of this:

GO HOGS!

And while nervously watching I will be doing this:

and this:

 And drinking this:

or maybe this:

While eating this:
(Real Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich)
And for those who don't know the difference between "real" and "imitation" pulled pork bbq sandwich - let me teach you - A "REAL" one consists of the pork and bbq sauce being cooked and smoked together all day long - whereas an "IMITATION" is just pulled pork with bbq sauce on top - there is NO COMPARISON - trust me!  :o)  Oohhh... ya makin my mouth water!  hee hee hee

Oh... one more thing -  be sure to check out Whitney at The Glamourous Life of a Housewife and enter her fabulous giveaway but hurry - it ends today!  It can be found here.  While you're there - check out her main website - she is such a doll and has the most adorable family and such beautiful red hair!

Well, thanks again for stopping by to say hello and if you've read this far - I hope I didn't bore you and promise to catch up on your blogs this weekend.  Happy Friday and have an awesome day! :o)

 Lots of love and hugs,

  1. You certainly like your collections. I don't think I have ever seen so much scrapbooking materials. And as for your collecting wine bottles - how do you find time to keep them dust free? husband dearest once decided he was going to collect beer bottles and it was a cleaning nightmare
