Heart Attack.........

On my way to Arkansas for the weekend to be with my mom - my stepdad had a massive heart attack last night and is in ICU and will undergo bypass surgery later today.  Please send prayers.

This little handsome guy is my new nephew (my baby brother's new son) and we have a very special bond - even more so now because he was born on my birthday! :)  His sweet and precious face was the best birthday gift I could have gotten this year!  He is a doll and it was one of the hardest things I had to do was leaving him back with his mom and dad in Florida.  Oh well.... just another great reason to go back and visit!

Hey Ya'll! Happy Hump Day!

How are you?  How have you been? I've been missing ya'll and the rest of the bloggy world so much and am SO happy to be back!  I can't wait to catch up on all of your blogs and see what you've been up to since I've been gone.  As you can see, I've changed the name of my blog as we have kind of outgrown "Welcome to our World".  I never really liked that title anyway before, but I didn't know what else to call it when I first started blogging.  Also, hubby and I are pretty much empty nesters anyway, so I think it's time for a change and a complete overhaul for my blog as well.  Does anyone have someone in particular that you just love that can overhaul my blog completely by chance?  If so, please let me know - thanks! :)

Well, work has still been the same stressful place, so I am going to cut this short and pick back up tomorrow.  However, because I don't like to do a post without a picture, I am leaving you with a couple of  my babies:

We have always owned Golden Retrievers and never had Boston Terrier's before, but let me tell you this - they are some of the MOST SWEETEST babies ever around and VERY smart too!  What kind of pet do you have? Taking a blogging break....

Brad Paisley and the Houston Rodeo

Happy Tuesday guys and dolls!  Hope you are all doing well.  I'm sorry I've not been around lately - but things have been BUSY BUSY BUSY to say the least - whew!  Yesterday, one of my co-workers asked me if I like Country Music and I said, yes, I love it.  She said, well her daughter-in-law was being induced today and she had 2 tickets to see Brad Paisley and a parking pass and wanted to know if I would be interested.  Well - that took me about 2 seconds to say a resounding YES!!!!  I had been trying to win them on the radio for over a year and haven't been able to do so.  I asked her how much and she said they were FREE!  SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

So.... I hope you all have a wonderful day and night - and I'll be thinking about you while I'm at the Houston Rodeo checking out this hottie:
