Happy Thursday friends! Well.... we are SNOWED in today and all at home nice and cozy. Here are a few pictures for you and we still haven't gotten everything we have coming. We are expecting 20" just where I live here in the mountains and on the lake. I had to get out and go to Pathmark and get a few things for the hubby and for the house since we will be stuck inside at least until Saturday sometime. Being the good blogger that I am I took pictures while stopped driving down the road to the store and back (I was by myself too) - now that is talent! HA! Anywho.... here are the pictures I took around the house and while driving - hope you enjoy:
Pictures looking out from our deck:
The lake outside our house - poor ducks
Ice lake - again - poor ducks
Beautiful swan
Driving down our main highway (this was after the plow trucks had made a sweep through - that's how bad it is already)

Main road again: (sorry, these are out of order for some reason)

Well that's all of the snow pictures, but I wanted to also show you the photos of some things I scored at Wal-Mart last week for CHEAP (one of my favorite words) ;o) The Apothecary jars were on sale for just $15.00 each - regularly $30.00 each - the silicone heart shaped muffin pan was regularly $9.00 and I got it for $2.25 and each of the lips and heart shaped cokie cutters were only .75 cents each (can't remember how much they were to begin with though). Anyway... now I could use some really good/cute and cheap ideas for the Apothecary jars - anyone have any thoughts and ideas they are willing to share by chance?
Aren't they cute?! :o) Well, guess I'd better get off here and fix my husband and kiddos some lunch. Hope you are all staying warm where you are and getting sunshine and warm temperatures instead of all this snow we're getting. Have a great day my friends!
Lots of love and kisses,
Trac- :o)
Dear sweet baby jesus that looks cold! Beautiful. But cold.

ReplyDeleteSo much snow..............stay warm and inside my friend;)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe all that snow! I love the jars, I wish I knew what to do with them - I'd have to see some pictures for inspiration. And then I would TOTALLY copy that! :)
ReplyDeleteYuck the snow we are expecting more. The swan is beautiful.. the others look like Canda geese not ducks.. lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat bargains too. I never seem to find them
