Hello my wonderful friends - how the heck are you? How have you been? I've missed all of you so much and have missed being online the last few days and catching up on your blogs and other things. How was your weekend? Fill me in, catch me up so I don't feel so out of the loop okay?! :) I am feeling better finally - whew! Whatever I had was miserable to say the least. I didn't do much at all and slept in until 10 and 11 each day since Friday - which apparently my body was telling me was much needed! Now, it feels so good to get back on schedule and back on track with my daily routine. I don't know about you, but I feel so out of sorts when I am not in my normal everyday routine.
Soo... let me see.... the only thing I really did this weekend besides watch my beloved HOGS beat South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday night, was manage to get my Halloween decorations taken down and my Thanksgiving ones put up. I have heard there are a few people (my personal friends included) who have decided to skip putting out their Thanksgiving decorations and just skip straight to CHRISTmas. Me, personally, I just can't do that. I love Thanksgiving tremendously and it is one of my favorite holidays next to CHRISTmas. CHRISTmas always comes first though as my favorite. :) Anyway, here are a few pictures from my Thanksgiving tablescape. Nothing too fancy, but I hope you like them:
So there you have it my peeps. Other than decorating my dining room for Thanksgiving and watching the football game - I also made 2 crockpots full of yummy goodness for dinner for the next few nights for my family and will share the recipes with you later this week. One is for Chili and the other is for Vegetable beef soup. They are both so yummy and I think you will really enjoy them, so be sure and check back. I will post them both probably on Thursday.
Well, it's that time of morning already so I better get my booty moving. Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and have an even better week ahead. Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello and I can't wait to check out your blogs later this morning.
Lots of love and hugs,
Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE! For many reasons but skip it and go right for Christmas...are they off their rocker!

Those napkins are very cute! I was checking out your bathroom photos (of all things) and I am so glad you switched out that outhouse border. Love the newer colors in there.
ReplyDeleteLove the napkins and the place card holders. The three colors you've chosen for the plates coordinate very well. Glad you didn't skip right to Christmas. I love Thnaksgiving.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely perfect table setting you have created just in time for the holidays. I just love all of the different textures. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
