Enjoying the Turtle's Pace of Life

Welcome to Thursday my peeps!  Hope you've had a great week so far after the long holiday weekend.  My week has been good, but oh so busy - mainly due to my new job.  I have been so swamped at work that all of my days are just flying by (which I secretly love - hee hee hee).  But, besides my "day job" I am truly enjoying the slower paced life back home in Arkansas.  I never realized how much the fast pace was beating me up as well as my body. *sigh*  Those late night hours and the long commutes really took it's toll on me for sure.  But, now that I can get in my car in the mornings and afternoons and drive to where I need to go (35 minutes on a good day and 45-50 on a bad day with wrecks) - I feel SO.MUCH.BETTER! :)

Heck, I was even able to get in a workout dvd last night, which I've not done in years! WOOT WOOT!  So... if you don't think the big city life and fast pace can getcha - just wait - it will - ha!  Trust me, I know - from experience.  LOL  Anyway, we are almost completely unpacked and things in their place here at home.  We are so close that if I had worked on emptying boxes last night instead of working out then my bedroom would even be in order by now.  But, in this case the dvd workout was much more important as the city life really beat my body up and I've gained too much weight and been eating unhealthy for too long now and need to get back on track.

I promise to show you pictures soon.  It may be another week or so, so please bear with me.  Also, I am going to post some "before" pictures here on my blog soon of my new "OFFICE" (at work) to get your input for decorating ideas.  I am on cloud 9 with my new office - I've never had my own actual office where I can close my door, etc.  and I am LOVING IT!

So.... it's a turtle's life for me:
