Christmas With The House Family

Happy Monday friends! Sheesh, I'm exhausted and not too happy that Monday is already here and so soon! Thankfully, it's another short week, but still - how is it that Monday's arrive so quickly?! Anyway, how was your Christmas? Awesome as ours, I hope.  We did a LOT of traveling from Texas to Missouri and Arkansas in between and then back to Texas, and we are completely exhausted beyond belief (that happens when you're our age, and traveling in a car I guess), but it was SO worth it!  We got a lot of family and friend time and we couldn't be happier!

Here are some highlights from our visit with our daughter and son-in-law and grandson at their house in Missouri:

Four Generations

Us and the kiddos

Like Santa, I'm Up All Night - I die everytime I see this picture of him and his little grin

Proud grandparents (ignore how tired we looked - we were exhausted)

My mother and her first great-grandchild (this was the first time she got to meet him)

The HOUSE Family

Everyone watching baby A sleep

Mother and the kiddos

Proud Papa and his grandson - I'm SO glad I was able to catch this when I did

My gifts from the kiddos - my name for the baby is Gigi and my daughter found this picture and couldn't wait to give it to me and sent me a picture of it way before Christmas - LOL and she knows I've been wanting a CICI beanie, and then she framed the hospital photo of us with the baby as well

I LOVE this picture of A and baby A - he loves his daddy

Baby snuggles, are the best snuggles

Our son-in-law made us an awesome lunch - ham, cream corn casserole and spicy sausage dressing

Me and my sweet precious baby grandson

Another favorite of mine that I was able to catch right at the exact moment

Down for the count

So there you go! I know, picture overload, but when you have such a cute subject like this, how can you blame me?! LOL  I don't know about you, but we were literally in the 80's all of the entire weekend no matter how far North we went and sweat the entire trip. Today I woke up to 40's and windy and COLD and I am LOVING it!!! Also, on a serious note before I get out of here, I hope that if you were in the any of the areas that were hit hard with tornadoes and other storms over the weekend that you and your family are safe and sound. Such a devastation to many and so sad.

Well, Happy Monday peeps and thanks so much for stopping by! Since I was traveling non-stop pretty much over the weekend, I didn't get a chance to catch up on your blogs but will be doing so later today. Have an awesome day lovies! :)

Lots of love and hugs,
