Happy TGIF!!!!

Happy Friday peeps!  How has your week been?  Mine has felt like it's been NUTS and I feel like I'm going to need a drink tonight! I had one last night as soon as I got home but may need more if today isn't a better day.  HA!  It has been THAT crazy - ugh!  So what are your weekend plans?  Anything fun and exciting?  We are going to be watching the Hogs play tomorrow afternoon against Alabama and we know we are going to get K-I-L-L-E-D to say the least!  *sigh* 

 

 

BUT, we have always been and will always be TRUE Die Hard fans so we will root them on - win or lose! It would be nice to pull out a surprise win against Bama and aren't expecting any miracles, but crazier things have happened. *fingers crossed*

 

However, today is an exciting day in itself because I get my new kindle fire in and I can't wait to get it and play with it and start catching up on my reading.  :)

AN-TI-CI-PA-TI-ON

I am SO excited to get this baby in tomorrow!  I can hardly contain my excitement.  I had bought the Google Nexus 7 tablet a few weeks ago but decided really quick that it wasn't what I was wanting and looking for.  It seemed way too difficult to use for some strange reason.  This came out at the perfect time - just in time for our upcoming vacation and I can't wait to be able to use it on the plane and in the airports while traveling and in the future.  So did anyone else order this new baby:

 

I am as excited about this as a kid in a candy store or waiting for Christmas morning!  So.... anyone else out there waiting with abated breath for this new toy?  I happen to LOVE my Ipad2 that I got completely free - but have been wanting this for a long time to just throw in my purse and carry with me - and was a lot lighter than the Ipad2.

A Moment of Silence......

I remember exactly where I was the day the towers fell as I'm sure you all do.  It was a very sad day in our country's history and one that will never be forgotten in my heart.  I continue to pray daily for the families who were affected by this tragedy and lost love ones due to the evil in this world.  

We will never forget.

Stand By Me

Happy Monday my friends!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was sad but good.  Our beloved Hogs lost to ULM in a MAJOR upset on Saturday night and knocked us completely out of the polls from #8 to not even in the top 25!  It was a really BAD BAD game to watch!  So bad that people are calling for the coach to be fired even - it was THAT bad.  The other bad thing was that 3 of our main players were hurt and taken out of the game by half-time.  As you can tell it was a really sad game.  :(  On Sunday hubby and I just laid around literally ALL DAY LONG and did nothing until about 4:30 and we got up and went to dinner.  It was so nice to rest up for a change.  :)

 

Anyway, this link was sent to me by a very good friend of mine last week and I've been wanting to share it with you ever since I received it.  It's actually fitting after this terrible weekend for the Hogs and also makes you stop and remember how great life is.  I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did - whoever put it together did an AWESOME job!
