Welcome Baby Ashton to our World :)

Happy Monday guys and gals!  I sure hope you had a wonderful week while I was gone. We had the BEST trip and time ever in Missouri and Arkansas this last week with welcoming our new grandson into the world as well as with our friends and family.  I am linking up with Champagne and Suburbs today for Weekending Monday.

But, since I know you didn't come here to hear me talk.... let me introduce you to the newest member of our family - Baby Ashton:

Well it's back to work today and after almost a week of being gone, I am not looking forward to it at all. But the good thing is that it is a very short week, which I am very thankful for and I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and being with my family. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by and letting me share my handsome new grandson with you.  :)

Lots of love and hugs,

Teaser.....

We are officially home from our trip to Arkansas and Missouri to meet our new grandson.  Needless to say, we are extremely tired and had to come home and unpack, do laundry, etc.  But now, we've had dinner, showers and are laying in our own bed again relaxing for the night before starting our week ahead.  So thankful this is a short week.  But, as promised... here's a teaser for you.  Tomorrow will highlight some of my favorite ones so you'll have to stay tuned to see more of the little guy:

Of course I had to dress him up in his little HOG outfit before I left.  Surely, you didn't expect anything less, right?! LOL

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  See you tomorrow! :)

Lots of love and hugs,

Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday, guys and dolls! Hope you're having an awesome week so far and that the weather where you are is beautiful as well.  You know what today is, so come join us, won't you?! :) You can join in here.

-- To be SUPER excited - I got the call at 11 last night that my daughter was on her way to the hospital and I am going to have a grandson VERY SOON

-- To wish I lived closer so I could be there at the hospital in case she has him before I get there.  They were inducing her last night about midnight or so, so it could be a long drawn out process, or it could happen very quickly

-- To be wishing that we were leaving tonight right after work instead of 4 or 5 a.m. in the morning. I'm still going to work on my hubby and see if I can get him to change his mind - even if we have to stay in a hotel, because it is a 12 hour drive.

-- To be continuing to pray for the other one thing I want more than anything in the world - I know it's all in God's timing, but I am praying for it to happen soon

-- To be praying for all of those in Paris and their families as they suffer the loss of their loved ones, and for all of those hurt in the terrorist attacks.  Our world is slowly coming to an end, which is why I am praying for the above so much and for it to happen sooner rather than later

What about you?  What are your "Hey, It's Okay Tuesday" thoughts today?  Hope you have a great day and rest of the week and weekend.  I am probably going to be taking a bloggy break until after I get back from our road trip to meet our new grandson. And don't worry, I will have TONS of pictures to show when I return! :)

Have a great day lovies and thanks for stopping by! :)

Lots of love and hugs,

Monday, Monday - Weekend Recap

Happy Monday guys and dolls.  Hope you had a fantastic weekend!  We had a lot of this and that going on this weekend, but it was still a very nice and relaxing one to say the least.  Here is a quick recap:

Friday night consisted of just coming home and relaxing and catching up on our DVR shows

Saturday morning we got up bright and early and finished up the laundry, did a few chores around the house and then we took off to the Tanger Outlet Mall in Texas City for a day of shopping.  I was in DIRE need of some new work clothes (mainly blouses) and Brooks Brothers was having a killer deal! I got 7 pieces for a total of $288 - see... I told you - a deal! :)

I walked out with this in both gray and white solids:
These:

and this just to name a few:

Afterwards, we were only about 20 minutes from downtown Galveston, so we went to the Strand and walked around doing some more shopping and enjoying a few adult beverages and a late lunch/early dinner.  We also did some CHRISTmas tree ornament shopping and I got a few more pieces to go on my tree. Then we headed back to the house and watched our beloved Hogs whip up on LSU again for the 2nd year in a row and got to bring the Boot back to Arkansas where it belongs:

On Sunday, I slept in until 7:30 and then got up and started my CHRISTmas decorating around the house and can't wait to show you some of the final results.  I actually completed my entire tree yesterday once and for all.  Granted, I have been working on it now for at least a week.  You know how long it takes to get a huge tree fluffed and decorated, right?! I'm SO happy that part is over.  My mantle is completed now and the stockings are hung.  Yes, I do realize it is only the 16th of November, however, we decided we wanted to be able to enjoy our December this year without still trying to decorate for CHRISTmas.  But, I am also being a rebel too, because my kitchen has all of my THANKSgiving decorations on the table as I refuse to skip one holiday to go to the next and this year we have a lot to be thankful for.

Today is the big day - we should finally find out WHEN they are going to induce our daughter this week so that we get to finally meet our handsome little grandson once and for all. My daughter has gotten to the point we all do when pregnant, completely miserable, and she is more than ready for that baby to be here for more than one reason.  I will keep you posted, so stay tuned! :)

Have a wonderful day lovies and thanks for stopping by.  If you want to come link up today you can do so here, here and here.  :)  PS - Please excuse the wonkiness of my paragraphs, as they are not wanting to cooperate and justify as I keep trying to force them to do.

Lots of love and hugs,

Friday Faves

Happy TGIF peeps!  I am just floored we are already on Friday the 13th and mid-way thru November already, I can't even begin to tell you how fast this year has flown by for me.  It is just CRAZY! Today is a link up party that I enjoy playing along with each week, so grab your favorites and come join in!

(1)  Since our plans have changed regarding the baby being delivered this Sunday, we are not going to head to Missouri until we get the exact date and time now on Monday after 1 p.m., so Hubby mentioned maybe seeing if we could get tickets to this weekend's game in Baton Rouge - Love my Hogs:

(2)  I went to Payless on Wednesday to take some dress shoes back to exchange and I came across these little beauties and had to have them too:

(3)  Favorite New TV Show that is full of drama and is hilarious as hell.  If you've not seen it yet, you've GOT to go and catch up on the show.  I think this is Season 2 or Season 3 but OMG - it's nuts!

This girl is CRAY CRAY - LITERALLY

(4)  My new favorite coffee:

(5)  My new favorite Hot Tea:

So what about you?  What are your Friday Faves this week?  Have a great day and an awesome weekend and I will see you on the flip side! :)  Thanks for stopping by to say hello!

Lots of love and hugs,
