It's a Winter Wonderland

Happy Monday!  How are you my friends?  Did you have a nice weekend?  Did you get all of your shopping and stuff done?  I still have the wrapping left to do and finish up a few handmade gifts and I will be completely finished - WOO HOO!! On Friday night, I was able to get home at a decent hour for a change and then on Saturday, we gathered up the remainder of our stuff to take to Goodwill and then went and picked up our jet ski that we purchased about a month ago.  On our way to get our jet ski it began snowing lightly.  We left the jet ski place and went home to put it in the garage, etc. and then headed out to this Mexican Restaurant that we had been meaning to try.  By the time we got there the snow was coming down pretty good but we didn't think anything of it.  Then we left there and were going to head to the Goodwill place only to decide against it as it was beginning to get dark and the place was over 30 minutes away from where we were and the snow was beginning to stick to the roads and the temps. were dropping, so we opted to head home instead.

Anyway - by the evening and next morning this is what we had - YEP a FULL 8 inches my friends! WOW - so much for the "snow showers" they were calling for - it was a downright snowstorm for sure! It was pretty for a while but now that we've had our one day of snow it can stay gone other than Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as far as I'm concerned! LOL  I love snow but also get tired of it pretty quickly when living in the Northeast.  Here are the pictures from our weekend:

Hope you have a great day my peeps!  Hugs and kisses to all!

  1. As a fellow southern girl, I know what you mean about wanting a one day snow! If it didn't turn out all black, brown, and slushy while you waiting for it to melt off, it might make me want it a little more. Enjoy your many days of snow this winter. I'll enjoy my one little snow per year and think about you. :)
