Twilight Eclipse Fever

Are you going? Did you attend the midnight showing last night?  My friend KS from While We Were Waiting had this to say about it:

"By far...hands down...without a doubt...This was the best Twilight movie yet.  The chemistry between the Bella-Edward-Jacob love triangle was palpable...and they all kicked up their acting abilities for this one,

and actually had me laughing at times with their witty one-liners.



I was nervous about the new Victoria going into the movie...But she was good.  

 

 
 
 
 

And to end on a high note...if I wasn't in love with Jasper before seeing Eclipse, I so am now.  I loved his charisma, I loved his old-world charm, and his southern drawl...and I loved how he loved Alice.

Were you one of the lucky ones to see the midnight showing last night or are you going to see it this weekend?  Me and the hubs and son will definitely be going to see it for sure and I can't wait! *giddy with excitement over here* :o)  I think I am even more excited to see this movie than I was about getting my new Iphone 4 last week - hee hee hee

I worked until 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. yesterday and got home and in the bed at 10:15 last night so I am completely worn out.  *sigh*  I personally can't WAIT for the upcoming 3 day weekend.  I will definitely, at some point, catch up on all of your blogs - I promise.  Looks like I've lost a follower over night - not sure why unless it's because of my lack of commenting lately due to my hectic schedule.  So, please realize that even if I am not able to comment - I do read each and every one of your blogs daily as I have them all saved on my favorites list at work so that I can get my "fix" during the day! :o) 

Well, it's 6:00 a.m. here and again, you know the drill - I feel like a broken record and also like Alice in Wonderland with the "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late" - and those of you who know me well, know the one thing I hate more in the world than anything is to be LATE to anything at any time! Ugh! 

So have a wonderful and blessed day my friends and know that I love you all and will catch up soon (I hope) on your blogs during this 3 day weekend ahead.

Weekend Recap - Charlotte, NC

Happy Monday my friends! How are you?  I've missed you over the weekend!  So what did you do this past weekend? Anything fun or exciting? We had a great time on our trip to Charlotte but realized quickly that there wasn't a lot to do in that area and surrounding areas.  Either that or we just couldn't find it - LOL  We didn't really spend a lot of time in Charlotte so I'm sure that's where all of the action was.  We were actually there to look for housing and at neighborhoods in the event that we are relocated there in the Fall.  We looked at the area of Huntersville, which is outside of Charlotte, and it was where we decided we really want to be if we do move there.  But, between you and I, I don't really think that's going to happen and if it doesn't, I'm okay with it.  We won't know for a few more weeks anyway so for now we will stay status quo and keep on paying down our bills and getting ready for the upcoming 3 day weekend and playing on the lake with our jet ski an hanging out with our good friends. :o)

One of the houses we were looking at: - btw - this house was only like 219k - CHEAP and HUGE which is what the South is known for in a lot of areas - much better housing market for sure!

It was definitely beautiful there and made us realize how much we really really miss the South and "home".  We would both like to get back to the South to be closer to our families and hope that by the time our kids graduate high school in the next 3 years that we will be able to do so.   Anyway, I can't wait to catch back up with all of your blogs and see what you were up to over the weekend.  Oh... and I only came out of the weekend with a gain of 1 lb. total.  YAY!  I was SO happy - especially since we did nothing but eat tons - and by tons - I mean TONS of junk food and beer over the weekend while we were away playing.  So I am quite ecstatic to say the least. YAY! :o)

Well, as usual, I am running SOOOO FAR behind this morning since I didn't have time to post this in advance, so I better get my butt moving.  HA!  I hope that you all have a wonderful day and look forward to catching up with you!  Have a great day my lovies! :o)

Friday Weight Watchers Weigh-In

Happy Finally Friday my peeps! WHEW! We FINALLY made it - sheesh - this has been one heck of a looooooooooooongggg week and I am just plain exhausted to say the least!  However, today there are two good things happening - one, I get to wear my jeans to work - YAY for small miracles and two - me and the hubster are heading out on our little weekend getaway tonight after work and I am so excited to spend some time with this handsome guy and just get out of Jersey for a while. :o) 

So what is on your weekend agendas?  Anything fun and exciting by chance?   Well whatever it is that you have planned, I do wish you a wonderful and relaxing weekend.  I promise to have lots of pictures to show you on Monday for my weekend recap so please be sure to check back next week! :o)

Now, on to my Friday weigh-in - I actually gained this week - but only .6 tenths of a pound which I think is pretty good considering that I put on over 2 lbs. last weekend thanks to all of the fluids the hospital was putting into my body - so to come out of the week with only a .6 tenths gained - I'd say that was pretty darn good, so I am happy with that.  And this weekend while I am away I am going to enjoy myself and just relax and if I gain then I gain - I'm not going to worry too much about it at this point.

Well, I guess I'd better get off here and finish packing.  I'm not sure that I will be posting any this weekend, but if I don't, be sure and check back on Monday for pictures!  Have a wonderful and blessed day my friends and thanks so much for stopping by to say hello! :o)

Guilty Pleasure Thursday

Happy Thursday my lovies - how are you?   How has your week been so far? Great, I hope! I'm doing okay just ready for a much needed break out of town with the hubster this weekend.  It's been quite a while since I did Steven's Guilty Pleasure Thursday so I thought I would play along today as I have nothing else scheduled to post.  My Guilty Pleasure is one that I am due to get today and I.cannot.wait!  It was actually due here yesterday, but it got delayed - surprise, surprise.  You see, I'm one of the lucky few 600,000 who got in on time for the pre-order of the new Iphone4 and I need it so much right now because I can't see the screen on my blackberry any longer thanks to my eyes getting worse every day. *sigh* So... here's my new Guilty Pleasure today:

The funny thing is that I'm even going to be a new Iphone4 owner as I am a HUGE Blackberry fan but the older I'm getting and the worse my eyes have become, the worse it is for me to see the screen or even the keys, so I had to "upgrade".  I am the only one remaining in my family who doesn't have an Iphone so I guess it's time for me to get with the program, huh?! LOL 

So what is your guilty pleasure today?  Only one more day til the weekend thank goodness! It has been such a looooonngggg week - am I right or is it just me? Just me? *crickets chirping* okay - well moving on then!
