Happy Monday my friends! How was your weekend? Ours was very nice and relaxing but way too short as always. Here are a few pictures of the project I have been working on for my son's room and finally finished on Saturday. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself! :o) He is very proud of it and couldn't wait to get it up to his room so he could get his computer and other stuff in it and his room more organized. For some reason it is still missing a couple of knobs that I need to get more of. I think only 1 or 2 but since this was a FREEBIE it's perfect until next weekend when I can get more for it. Also, I used Martha Stewart High Gloss paint but don't have the exact color with me right now - will update the color later if anyone is interested. Needless to say, it is very very nice in person and looks great! :o)

On Saturday me and my girlfriend had a wonderful kid free, husband free day and went shopping and hanging out and then went to a little restaurant on the lake and sat down and enjoyed a couple of nice cold drinks (aka Mojitos and Malibu Bay Breezes) and snacks (aka Buffalo Bites) and then we took the party to my house and had an even better time. Here are a few pictures from our fun night too. We even broke out the old 45's and played a few records on the old record player. :o)
Our friend and his wife too had so much fun they even broke through our patio chairs - LOL (Seriously, these chairs were so old that it didn't take much at all - my brother-in-law actually did the same thing last August to the one he was sitting in. I am the only one who hasn't gone through the last one yet! HA!
My favorite girl:
Daddy and boo-boo (his nickname for our daughter)
Me and hubby (he was acting goofy as usual) (I was so tired - could you tell)
Our goofy friend
Our goofy friends being silly (we were trying to take a picture and they kept jumping in it - LOL)
Me and my favorite baby girl:
Me and baby girl and Mr. B
The hubster: Name That Tune
Mrs. K. dancing to the music - ha!
Thanks for stopping by - I hope you had a wonderful weekend and have an even better day today!
