Happy Hump Day my peeps and thanks for stopping by to say hello!  It is a very nasty day here today rain wise - but that's okay - I happen to enjoy the rain (most of the time) as long as there aren't any major tornadoes or storms in the area.  A little rain - eh - not a big deal.  :)

Last night, my good friend from work, E, took me to this delicious italian restaurant and all I can say is WOW - it was SOO SOO YUMMY and it was great to spend time (besides morning coffee and a lunch here and there) with her.  It was very relaxing and we enjoyed a nice dinner, wine and great conversation.  It was nice not to have to be running for a change.  I will put pictures up soon from the dinner as well as my cards my husband gave me.  Tonight he and the kids are taking me to dinner after work, so that will be a nice treat too.

Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday for those of you who stopped by.  And I PROMISE to show off my extreme couponing loot very very soon.  My husband has to go out of town in the morning, so I will have time after work to actually get some posts together along with the pictures, so be sure and look for a post about it tomorrow morning.  I totaled everything up yesterday with my receipts and retail the total was $188 and some change - I spent only $44 and some change out of pocket.  While that was VERY good - I was kind of aggravated that I still spent that much - ha!  When they say "extreme" - they mean "extreme".  My whole attitude has changed on buying groceries now and I learned that while I was there my store that I've gone to for almost 3 years now doubles coupons every.single.day and always has - Whhhhaaaattttt????  Argh!  Now that I know that - I will be taking FULL advantage! HA!

To Tired to Think - Random Thoughts

Happy Tuesday my peeps.  This is going to be short and sweet this morning, as I am just too tired to think.  I know my posts the past few days have been lacking but it has been such a busy weekend and I'm still trying to get caught up on my sleep and rest in general which is why I've not had too much to say.

However, I am also trying to get caught up on your blogs as well and promise to comment soon.  Just don't give up on me and know that I am here lurking currently.  I can't wait to show you my "cheap" loot that I scored over the weekend with my extreme couponing to the max - though there were some lessons learned that's for sure. 

Tonight my good friend, E, is taking me out to dinner because tomorrow is my bday and I am really looking forward to just hanging out with her for a little while.  We usually have coffee every morning before work, so it will be nice to enjoy dinner and a glass or two of wine as well this week. :o)  Also, next week (Monday), I will be showing you what I made for my mother for her Mother's Day gift.  I can't show it to you now, obviously, just in case she decides to pick this week to stop by and read my blog! LOL

Bin Laden is......DEAD

Well, good morning my friends! I hope you've had an awesome and relaxing weekend.  I had a very busy one to say the least.  I had planned to write a post this morning about my weekend finds - grocery wise - due to some MAJOR EXTREME couponing and show you all of my loot at rock bottom prices.  However, due to some other major developments overnight - I felt it was much more important to celebrate the long and awaited death of one of the most evil people in the world over the weekend. 

No matter your thoughts on President Obama and what he has or hasn't done - he has accomplished what no other Presidents in the last decade have been able to do - which is get the USA's top enemy once and for all.  Personally - that is a major triumph in my book!  All I can say is Praise the Lord for all of his diligence in getting this bastard.  Sorry, I know I don't normally curse on this blog (it is a family blog) and I hope I don't lose readers over this - but I truly have no words other than curse words for this man and what he did to our families in America and the devastation of the loss of lives we encountered.

And also another HUGE THANK YOU to all of the military families who are having to sacrifice and who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the Great ole U.S.A.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrifice of our safety and me and my family will be eternally grateful.  I do realize though this will put us on even more extreme alert and being in NYC it kinda scares me to say the least.

Happy TGIF - WHEW we finally made it to the weekend! YAY!!!
