What's Hap-"Pinning"

Happy Hump Day guys and dolls! It's one of my favorite days of the week today, which is the What's Hap-"Pinning" day link up party with Jessi and Jenn so come play along! :)

Since it is Halloween month, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite Halloween pins that I've came across this week:

I wish I had the talent for making these entry ways with the mesh, etc., but sadly, I don't.  Will someone come do this for me? :)

LOVE the eyeballs and witch's cauldron in this one

Perfect for a Haunted House or Halloween Party

If I had a staircase, I would SO do this

I am all about decorating my table for every holiday and this is right up my alley:

I thought these floating hats were adorable

And this wreath... my favorite so far

And the perfect pantry addition, don't you think? :)

So that's what's been hap-"pinning" here in my neck of the woods - what about yours? Can't wait to see what everyone's been up to! Have a great day lovies and thanks for stopping by. :)

Hey, It's Okay Tuesday

Hey - you know the rules - follow along with Amber over at Airing My Laundry, One Post at a Time and join me as I follow her in her normal Tuesday Link Up:

-- To look forward to having my first cup of coffee in the mornings and time for myself while I enjoy the peace and quiet before the hustle and bustle of the day

-- To have really missed blogging for most of last year and so happy to be back into it and catching up with everyone's blogs.

-- To be hitting the job market in Arkansas hot and heavy to get home where my heart longs to be

-- To be SO thankful for cooler temps - I can't stand the heat and humidity in Texas - it's brutal

-- To be ready for leggings and boots and long sweaters with scarves

-- To absolutely HATE, make that DESPISE, insomnia as much as I DESPISE politics of any and all kinds - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

So.... what about you? What are your Hey, It's Okay thoughts today?  Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping by! :)

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday guys and dolls.  I hope that you had a fantastic weekend.  Ours included some ups and downs over the weekend and to be honest, it just kind of sucked for the most part. But, here are some of the highlights:

* Friday night we got off work early about 4:30, hubby and I had a big stupid fight over nothing, which is so unlike us but we chalked it up to us being exhausted after the long stressful week we had just had - it was short lived, but still, after 18 years together, I hate arguing over stupid stuff

*Saturday morning we got up early, went and took his Truck in for an oil change and service then went to Denny's to eat breakfast and did some garage saling in the nearby neighborhood that was having their semi-annual yard sale.  I managed to find a VERY CUTE lantern for $5 that I will have to share a picture of with you later, as I don't have it here on my computer

*Saturday afternoon I was still working on Halloween decorations and our neighbors across the street called and asked us to go have drinks with them at Sharkey's, so of course we said yes! :)  The weather was gorgeous and it was overlooking the lake - what more could you want? Cold drinks, lake view and friends - nothing better, right!

*After that we ran home and started getting stuff prepped and ready because our beloved HOGS were about to play at 6:00 against the Tennessee Vols and we were hankering for a win and we did - thankfully we broke our 3 game losing streak - it wasn't a pretty win, but hey, at this point in time, a win is a win is a win

*Sunday started out with hubby having to work, me getting up early with him and working on more Halloween decorating and then going to get my nails done.  Sheesh - does it take anyone else 2 hours to have their nails done? It drives me crazy - but, unfortunately, my nails are so weak and thin that if I don't have them done with gel overlay and shellac, they will break constantly and split. :( Hubby got home early afternoon and the rest of our evening consisted of some cooking and watching tv and relaxing, but another night of insomnia for me - blah

I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  We are enjoying this really COOL weather here in Texas that we've been having the past few days - lows in the 50's and 60's and highs in the low 80's with no humidity - yes, please. :)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by.

Friday Faves

Happy TGIF! Whew, has this week been as tough on you as it has me? Goodness gracious, I am SO happy today is finally Friday - I don't think I can take another day this week.  OMG! Hopefully, today will be better.  So what are your weekend plans?  We don't have a lot going on except hanging out on Saturday and then Sunday my husband has to work so I will spend the day finishing up my Halloween decorating inside and maybe even the outside if I get time.  Of course our Saturday also consists of watching our HOGS play Tennessee and maybe it will be a game we will win this week for a change - sheesh, the year has already started off bad for our team.

Anywho, today I'm linking up with these lovely ladies at Meet at the Barre, The Slaughters, The Farmer's Wife and Carolina Charm

and thought I would share some of my favorite Fall nail colors that I can't wait to try out.  I happen to love deep dark colors for my fingernails and pretty much where them year round even in the Spring/Summer as well. And the darker, the better - I'm weird that way. :)

So what about you? What are some of your Favorite Fall nail colors that you like to wear? I'm always looking for new colors to try out.  Have a fabulous weekend lovies and thanks for stopping by to say hello! :)

Three Things Thursday

Happy October lovies! I hope you're having a fab week so far.  Yesterday was another tough day at the office, but hey, today is a new day, right?! :)  I love this Three Things Thursday each week but since the holidays are upon us (crazy), I am going to change it to Thankful Thursday beginning next week.  After all, we have a lot to be thankful for in this world, don't we? :)

1.  I'm SO happy tomorrow is Finally Friday - WHOOP WHOOP  I can't help it, I literally LIVE for the weekends - even if it is just staying around the house and not doing much

2.  I couldn't be more thrilled that today is actually October 1st - so hard to believe, but it signals the beginning of my most favorite time of year, which is that the holidays are upon us finally

3.  Oh and today starts Thriller Thursday on my local radio station back home that I can pick up on Iheartradio and I look forward to this every year.  For the entire month of October, people call in or write in telling about their true ghost stories and experiences - (insert evil laugh here)

So what are your Three Things Thursday this week? Would love to hear about them so feel free to share! :)

Have an awesome day guys and dolls and I will see you on the flip side!

Lots of love and hugs,
