Good morning and Happy Thursday guys and dolls! We are officially over the hump of the week and on the downhill side now - whoop whoop! I was thinking yesterday how I can't believe we are already through the mid-month of September - I mean, how the heck did that happen? It seems like yesterday I was in Florida celebrating my birthday and my nephew's first birthday (he was born on my birthday) with my mom and other family back in May. Sheesh, time has flown for me. My favorite time of year is Fall - I mean, I literally eat, drink and sleep all things Fall. If I could find a place to live that was Fall year around, I would move there TODAY and never look back. I love the crispness of the mornings, and love going out during the day where there is 0% humidity and the temps are in the 70's and just right. At night you can go home and sit on the back porch enjoying an adult beverage while soaking in the crisp air that night - I LOVE the perfect sweater weather and that for me is in the 60's and low 70's. Unfortunately, living in Texas as we currently do, we don't get many days like that until November sometime. This is just another reason I miss home - they start cooling down a month sooner, in October, most of the time. Sometimes they are hot and humid still in October, but not every single day like we are here.

This outfit is basically "me". I love jeans, plaid shirt, vest, and boots or tennis shoes. I am just a country girl and this is my go to in the Fall/Winter. I prefer to be Comfortable but stylish.
One of my faves - I LOVE the color of that combo and the Plaid is to die for!

So glad to be back in touch. With the days becoming cooler (not that we have had much of a summer here) and the nights rapidly drawing in the changing of the leaves is about the only thing I really like about autumn.

DeleteOf course I love the colors of this season. The warm yellow and cool orange are just perfect to pull anybody out of stress and anxiety. This season reminds me of Let It Go attitude.. Why cry.. love plaids too..
