Hump Day and Weekend Recap

Happy Wednesday lovies! How are you today?  Great, I hope!  All is well here, just been a super busy last few days since returning from Arkansas for my daughter's baby shower.  Sheesh, who knew it could be so hard giving a baby shower? I am SO happy it's over, however, I think it turned out pretty awesome and she received a lot of nice gifts as well.  We had about 20 people total, which I thought was a great turnout.

Here are some pictures from her special day - Warning, picture overload below:

The Table - talk about taking forever to do - that back wall was a nightmare and took HOURS to complete - but it was worth it in the end
Me, Tricia (one of my besties and other hostess) and Alliye:
My silly niece, Mayson and Alliye:
Paula, Me and Julie - 2 more of my besties:
Me and my TALL niece, Mayson Clai:
Me and one of my other besties, Vickie:
Tricia and her baby girl, Zoie:
 Let the present opening begin:

Taken by my daughter's cousin - just one of her many maternity photos - I can't wait to see the rest:
 Me and my crew:

See... you were warned! LOL  This bottom picture is one of me and my absolute 5 besties and I don't know when, if ever, I've had them all in the same room in our lifetime, so I HAD to make sure we got a picture to commemorate the occasion for sure.

On another note, my Hogs whooped up on UTEP last weekend, so that was a WIN/WIN with a great shower turnout and a Razorback win!  Next up.... Toledo.  What did you and your family do over the holiday weekend? Anything special? Can't wait to catch up on your blogs and see how you spent your holiday.  Thanks for stopping by and please let me know you were here.

Lots of love and hugs,

  8. I love the idea of a baby shower (hadn't hit the radar here in the UK in 1990, so I missed out!) - what an amazing bounty of gorgeous gifties for the new baby! But most of all, all those precious people in the same room, celebrating a new life ... just magical. Thank you so much for sharing such a happy occasion with us all. 11. I like when parties have a nice backdrop like that for pictures. A lot of times there's no good spot to do photos. It takes some doing though!
